Once it had started raining, and the holiday season had started, I ignored my succulents for several weeks. I don’t have to worry about them drying up in the hot summer sun, and they don’t get overwatered by the rain, being under the eaves. Water and humidity blow their way and they do well by themselves.
I went outside the other day and realized my succulents were flowering! Back when I didn’t know anything about succulents, I thought they were the flower. But actually those fleshy arms are their leaves. Flowers do come up, usually once per year. Here are a few, below.
